The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, on Saturday received the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló and some of his entourage ahead of his meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
An aircraft with number, 5N – FG2, which conveyed President Embaló, landed at the Presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at 12:16 pm with dignitaries waiting to receive him.
The Guinea-Bissau President, who is in Nigeria to visit President Bola Tinubu, was received by Governor Sanwo-Olu and some government officials at the airport. President Embaló after a brief ceremony at the airport drove in the same vehicle with Governor Sanwo-Olu in a presidential convoy from the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja to President Tinubu’s private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
President Tinubu later received his Guinea-Bissau counterpart, who who is also the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) at his Lagos residence.
