Minister Says Nigeria Safe For Tourism, Business After Foreign Bikers’ Tour

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the successful, two-week tour of cultural heritage and historic sites across the country by local and foreign bikers, under the auspices of the Latin America Motorcycles Association (LAMA), has confirmed that Nigeria is now safe for tourism and business.   The Minister made the remarks in Abuja on Monday while bidding farewell to the foreign bikers at the end of the tour that took them to eight states covering four geo-political zones and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).  …

Widower Drags Mother In-Law To Court Over Inheritance

A widower, Isah Sulaiman, has sued his mother in-law at a Magajin Gari Sharia Court in Kaduna, over his late wife’s inheritance. Sulaiman told the court his mother in-law, Khadija Ibrahim, had allegedly confiscated his late wife’s inheritance meant for his children. Court Remands Man, 35, For Raping 67-Year-Old Woman

A 35-year-old man, Samuel Gbodogbe, was on Monday brought before a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly raping a 67-year-old woman, Mrs Ayinke Ogunade.
