Herdsmen Killings: Kwara Security Council Issues Guidelines For Peace

 Kwara State has directed the State Police Command to ensure compliance with compensation mechanism earlier put in place by the State Security Council as a way to enshrine peace between farmers and herdsmen in the state.   Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on Media and Communications, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, in statement said the directive was sequel to the outcome of the Security Council meeting in Ilorin. We Target  N38bn IGR In 2018, Says KWIRS Chairman

.….generates N36. 4b in two years The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) has said that its target for tjhis year is N38bn in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) more than what it generated (N36.4bn)  in the last two years. A White Paper released by Ekiti State has barred a former Governor Kayode Fayemi, from holding a public office in the state for 10 years. The state also barred his former Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Dapo Kolawole, for the same number of years.
