POWA empowers 300 widows, orphans in Kaduna

Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), on Saturday empowered no fewer than 300 widows, orphans and less privileged families of deceased officers in Kaduna State. The Chairperson, Kaduna State Chapter of POWA, Hajiya Aisha Muri announced this during the third phase of Police Widows Empowerment Programme in Kaduna. Lagos pays retirees over N32bn in two years -commissioner

Lagos State says it paid accrued pensions of more than N32bn to 8,170 retirees between May 2019 and July 2021. The Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) in a statement issued on Saturday said that the Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions, Mrs Ajibola Ponnle, disclosed this on Friday at the 87th retirement benefit bond certificates presentation to retirees. Human trafficking: NAPTIP rescues 100 victims in S’ East in 6 months
