Ekiti Agency To Begin Dismantling Illegal Billboards Thursday

The Ekiti Signage and Advertisements Agency is to begin dismantling illegal billboards across the state on Thursday, April 15. Mr Olasunkanmi Onipede, the Director-General of the agency, disclosed this during a news conference in Ado Ekiti. ”The agency has given affected owners of the billboards adequate notice and warnings, to either regularise the placement of their billboards or remove them. ”Any billboard erected without approval or placed inappropriately, without regards to required guidelines from the agency, would be removed,” he said. Police Arrest Man For Killing Cleric Suspected To Be His Wife’s Lover

The Police Command in Niger has arrested one Umar Jibril, for allegedly killing a cleric he claimed was his wife’s lover. Jibril, a resident of Enagi village, in Edati Local Government of the state, was arrested on Tuesday, according to Mr Adamu Usman, the Niger Police commissioner. Usman disclosed in Minna that the suspect was arrested on Monday, April 12, “at about 0100 hours, based on credible information”. Cultism: Police Arrest 6 Suspects During Initiation, Recover Guns

The Police Command in Anambra State says it has arrested six youths aged between the ages of 17 and 25 years suspected to be cult members.
