Oyo State Police Command has paraded its shocking discoveries when policemen stormed the residence of the sacked Disciplinary Committee Chairman of the Oyo state Park Management System, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi known as Auxiliary.
The Police command while explaining the reasons for the search said it gathered from intelligence that the chairman and his boys had perfected plans to unleash mayhem at major parts of Ibadan following their dissolution.
The command made this known while parading 78 persons believed to be members of the dissolved PMS for unlawful possession of fire arms, ammunition and others dangerous items.
The state Police Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Williams, made who addressed journalists at the state Command Headquaters, Eleyele Ibadan on Tuesday, said the command in its proactive nature while acting on intelligence driven surveillance were able to foil the attempt.
He added that a member of the group was neutralized in a gun duel while Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary escaped with some of his boys.
