…..break away from ALGON
The 33 Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State have jointly decided to break away from the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON).
They want to form a new association. They insist that the Federal Government should keep paying their allocation via the State machinery.
This is solidarity with Governor Makinde’s stance on LG autonomy.
