Kwara Gov congratulates newly elevated police officers

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara has congratulated four senior police officers of Kwara origin who have just been elevated to different ranks in the recent promotions announced by the Police Service Commission (PSC).

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye on Wednesday listed the officer to include Babatunde Ishola Babaita (Assistant Inspector General of Police).

Others are Yekini Adio Ayoku (Assistant Inspector General of Police); Salman Dogo Garba (Commissioner of Police); and Mr. Adegbola Aina (Commissioner of Police).

“The Governor rejoices with the top cops and their families on the deserving elevation.

“He is excited to have these distinguished Kwara-born officers moving steadily to the peak of their career with records of excellent service to the Nigerian state and its people.

“These elevations again portray our state in a good light, and I pray God to guide these police officers, and many others like them as they continue to be great ambassadors of Kwara State and its people,” the statement said.
