Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Thursday, presented the 2025 budget of N936 billion to the State House of Assembly for consideration.
The Governor arrived the Assembly complex at about 10am amidst cheers from Assembly staff. The Assembly Staff who were excited to see the Governor Oborevwori sang and danced to welcome him to the complex.
Presenting the appropriation bill, christened “Budget of Fiscal Consolidation”, to the Assembly, the Governor laid emphasis on human capital development and infrastructure.
Road Infrastructure got the highest allocation of N230 billion while Education was allocated N67.42bn; Health N30.55bn; Water Resources N11.03bn, while Agriculture got N7bn.
