Ferscoat School dedicates new complex, marks 30 years

Ferscoat school officially dedicated its ultra-modern complex on Wednesday as part of the activities to mark 30 years of its establishment.

The dedication service which was conducted by the Resident Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Pastor David Oyedepo Junior who was joined by other senior pastors marked the beginning of series of activities lined up by the school’s management to commemorate the event.

In his message which identified God as the builder of the school the past 30 years, Pastor Oyedepo commended the visionary leadership of the Proprietor and the Director of Studies, Pastor Felix Opata for staying focused on God.

In his sermon from Psalm 127:1-3, Pastor Oyedepo said we have gathered to celebrate God who is the builder and that the appropriate thing to do is to hand over the edifice to the builder who also knows how best to maintain what he has built for the school.

He added that the best effort of man to do what God will do effortlessly will end in vain.

He later anointed the edifice and the offices located inside the complex.

In his testimony at the service, Pastor Opata acknowledged the hand of God in giving the direction and in supplying the wisdom which has guided the school and its operation till date.

While playing glowing tribute to his wife, Deaconess Catherine Opata, who he said was there at the beginning, Pastor Opata said that the school started as a coaching centre from where it was transformed into a school based on God’s direction and guidance.

The new school building now houses all the classes from the junior to the senior secondary school learners and is in addition equipped with modern facilities to aid learning.
