Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has congratulated Muslim community in the state on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
This is contained in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Rafiu Ajakaye on Tuesday in Ilorin.
“The Governor congratulates the leader of thefaithful in Kwara Emir of Ilorin Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on the successfulcompletion of the fasting period.
“He asks the Muslim community to make the nobleactivities of the holy month, including alms giving, abstinence from negativities,and good conducts integral feature of their daily lives.
“Governor AbdulRazaq urges the community to uniteupon goodness and avoid anything that may eat away the rewards of their fast question their sincerity as devotees.
“He asks Allaah to grant everyone a blessed Eid and better years ahead in the best state of faith,” the statement said.
