The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a man for stealing a car while pretending to be a potential buyer.
While parading the man Police said the man whose identity was not disclosed “went to a car stand in Bauchi and pretended that he wanted to buy this car.
“He came back the next day and asked that they should go for a test riding.
“While they were testing before payment, he asked the driver to go out to check the tyre at Vulcanizer.
“While the driver was checking, the man zoomed off with the vehicle.
“He was arrested on his way to Kano State.
