Wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, is dead.
A statement issued and released by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong, said that she died peacefully at the hospital on Thursday September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family .
The family has requested prayers and support during this difficult time, and has asked for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
The Governor, Pastor Umo Eno expressed gratitude to those who have stood by the first family during this challenging period, reassuring citizens that his commitment to serving the state remains unwavering despite this personal loss.
