Ward executives of the All Progressive Congress, APC , Galadima Ward of Gusau LGA of Zamfara State have slammed an indefinite suspension on Tukur Danfulani, the State Party Chairman
In a message sent to the APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and signed by Alh Ga Bell , the Ward Vice Chairman, the executives said their action followed due consultation with stockholders and after series of meetings during which the action and inaction of the sacked State APC Chairman were x-rayed.
Hon. Tukur Danfulani who hails from Galadima Ward has been a registered member of the party for many years,
Outlining reasons for his suspension, the Ward leaders alleged that Danfulani has demonstrated a Lack of Interest in the activities of the party at the ward level.
He was also accused of causing disaffection and disunity among party members across all levels in the state, Misplacement of duties and responsibilities and playing Politics of segregation, among numerous other issues.
“In view of this, 16 out of twenty seven Ward Executives have signed for the suspension and that remains our stand.
“We are therefore, calling on the APC National Headquarters to send caretaker Chairman who will lead the affairs of party before the next convention”.
The letter to Alhaji Ganduje was copied APC National Vice Chairman North West, APC Chairman Gusau local Government,
Commissioner of Police Zamfara State, the Director State Security Service Zamfara State and the State Commandant NSCDC, Zamfara State.
