A total of 62 terrorists, including 5 notorious ISWAP commanders, were killed as troops repelled a major terrorist offensive in Borno.
The commanders, who were key tacticians, were neutralized during simultaneous battles in Dikwa, Mafa, Gajibo, and Katarko.
The troops recovered 38 AK-47 rifles, 7 PKT machine guns, and other ammunition.
