Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and former Governor of Benue State, 72 years old Chief George Akume, has married Queen Zaynab, the former wife of the current Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Queen Zaynab, formerly known as Zaynab Otiti Obanor, was previously married to the Ooni of lIfe, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
Their traditional marriage took place in March 2016 in Benin City, Edo State, followed by ceremonies in lle-Ife, Osun State.
The union, which attracted significant public attention, ended in 2017 after about 17 months.
