The newly appointed Managing Director, Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA), Bamanga Jada, has lauded the Liberty Oil and Gas Free Zone (LOGFZ) for its compliance to Nigeria’s Free Zone scheme.
A statement by Assistant General Manager, Corporate Communications, OGFZA, Golda Ukomadu, issued in Abuja : “The activities of Liberty Oil and Gas Free Zone are in line with President Tinubu’s ambitious agenda of substituting import with export,” Jada said.
Jada, however, assured the investors of the authority’s commitment to providing a conducive business environment for free zone entreprises as well as provide supporting of the supervisory Minister, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, to ensure the success of the nation’s Oil and Gas Free Zones.
Speaking at a meeting, the Managing Director of Sterling Petrochemical and Fertilisers under LOGFZ, Nittin Shah, emphasised the global viability of gas in various forms and the economic gains that would accrue to the zone and Nigeria at large. (NAN)
