NUJ Lagos Council mourns The Guardian’s Photo Editor, Adebesin-Kuti

Lagos State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists has expressed condolence to the family of one of its members, Femi Adebesin_Kuti who died on Friday and has since been buried.

In a statement signed by the Chairman Adeleye Ajayi and the Secretary, Tunde Olalere, the Council prayed that God will uphold the family of the late member who was a member of the Photo Journalists Association of Nigeria (PJAN).

According to the statement: “We received the sad news of the passing of our dear brother, Femi Adebesin-Kuti, Photo Editor of the Guardian Newspapers which occurred in the early hours of today with great shock.

“We pray that God in his infinite mercy will uphold and stand by his immediate family and friends at this trying time as we sympathize with members of the Guardian Newspapers Chapel and the entire PJAN family.

May God continue to protect the rest of us and show up for us in our time of need.
