Navy seeks more collaboration with Army 3 Brigade

The Commandant Nigerian Navy Logistics College, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Anakwe, has called for enhanced collaboration between the Navy Logistics College and 3 Brigade Nigerian Army, Kano.

The move is aimed at improving operational productivity and efficiency within both military establishments.

Anakwe made the call during a courtesy visit to the headquarters of 3 Brigade in Kano on Wednesday.

The commandant was received by Brig. Gen. Ahmed Tukur, the 3 Brigade Commander.

He said that the visit was aimed at fostering closer ties and cooperation between the Nigerian Army and Navy.

Anakwe lauded the Brigade for its commitment and performances.

He acknowledging the selfless efforts of the Commander and his troops in combating security challenges while keeping Kano State safe and secure.

The commandant disclosed that the Nigerian Navy College of Logistics has been in existence for a while now.

According to him, it has a mandate to serve as a military logistics school and monotechnic that trains logistics personnel of the Nigerian Navy and sister Services.

He stated that, on assumption of office recently, he outlined his immediate priorities which included the visit to the Headquarters 3 Brigade.

He disclosed that he had an articulated plan and intention to seize the opportunity to seek for strengthened collaboration and assistance, when necessary.

Anakwe lauded the commander and the principal staff officers on their contributions to the sustenance of the Joint Task Force operations in Kano State.

He thanked the Commander, Brig Gen Ahmed Tukur for the warm reception accorded him and members of his entourage.

In his response, the Commander 3 Brigade appreciated the Commandant and his team for their visit.

He assured him of the Brigade’s continuous support and collaboration in tackling security challenges in the state.(NAN)
