While en route to Abia State, I made a brief stop in Enugu State and paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah.
During our engagement I commended the Governor for his purposeful leadership and the remarkable pace of development and transformation across Enugu State, driven by his commitment to good governance, infrastructure renewal, and economic growth.
Thereafter, Governor Mbah and I proceeded to the country home of elder statesman, nationalist, and former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Jim Nwobodo, to pay our respects and draw from his vast wealth of experience as a former governor and senator of the Second Republic, in the broader interest of our nation.
We were warmly received by Chief Jim Nwobodo and his wife, Chief Mrs. Patricia Nwobodo and his household, in an atmosphere of warmth, reflection, and constructive dialogue.
