Kwara Gov salutes Anglican Bishop, Adewole at 57

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has congratulated Bishop of Kwara Diocese, Anglican Communion Bishop Sunday Adewole on his 57th birthday anniversary.

Bishop Adewole is also the Vice Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

This is contained in a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to Gov AbdulRazaq in Ilorin on Monday.

The Governor said he joined the Christian community in the state, family members, and associates of the bishop to thank God for another year of His abundant grace as the cleric continues to serve in the vineyard of God

He called on Christian community while to hands with the government to deepen interfaith dialogue, peace and harmonious relations.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Kwara State, I celebrate the cleric and pray the Almighty God to grant him many more years in good health,” the statement added.

AbdulRazaq also congratulated the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Sunday Fagbemi on his birthday anniversary.

He described Fagbemi as a great party man, a statesman, and a firm believer in social justice, democratic ethos, and people-focused development.

“Our government joins leaders and party members to congratulate Mr. chairman who continues to inspire confidence in the rank and files of the party with his large heart and people skills.

“It is our prayers that Almighty God will grant the desires of the party chairman, grant victory to all candidates flying the flag of our party (APC) under his leadership at the polls next year, and bless him with good health and long life,” he added.
