Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has officially handed over the digitally operated toll gate at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport to the officials of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Governor Uzodimma in a statement posted on his official X formerly Twitter handle said: “As a gateway to our State, we remain committed to enhancing the quality of service at our airport. “Today, I officially handed over the digitally operated toll gate at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport to FAAN.
“This project complements the access gate commissioned by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, during his last visit to Imo State.
“This advanced system, one of many improvements we have implemented to ensure the convenience and safety of travelers, will enhance traffic monitoring and control, providing a smoother and more efficient experience for all users.
“We will continue to invest in and prioritize the development of our airport infrastructure.
