Ferscoat school resumes with high expectations after its 30-years’ celebrations

Ferscoat school opens to learners on Monday for the second term of the current academic 2022/2023 academic session with high expectations to improve on its records which were recently show cased to mark its 30 years of establishment.

Prior to the official resumption, the school had embarked on seminars to effectively equip academic staff for the task ahead and in readiness for its learners.

The school which had elaborate celebrations in December has been able to establish a profile for academic excellence and also known for its zero tolerance for examination malpractice.

During the celebration which attracted stakeholders within the educational sector, the proprietor and the Director of Studies, Pastor Felix Opata used the occasion to highlight the need for government’s assistance to private schools in order to sustain quality education standard given the cost of maintaining their operations.

The school principal, Mr. Fred Opata while raising hopes of a better performance in the years ahead disclosed that the management used the period of the holiday to effectively prepare the academic staff for what to expect in the days ahead of the academic session.

The school’s record in external examinations has remained not only impressive but also providing unhindered admission for its learners in higher institutions of learning.
