Ferscoat embarks on UK excursion tour for learners

Ferscoat School has announced plans to embark on tour of the United Kingdom for excursions and learning for its students willing to take part.

The Principal, Mr Fred Opata who disclosed this in his office recently said that the tour scheduled for August 27 to September 5, is to expose the students who will be taking part to other cultures beyond what they are used to and known already.

The 10-day programme will feature a lot of activities lined up for the team while in the UK beginning from day one to the last day before returning home.

In conjunction with Climax Tours, the excursion will take participants to the Buckingham Palace, Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science Museum, the UK House of Parliament and also visit famous Thames River.

The tour will also feature visit to the Crystal, the rich resources of educational content dedicated to urban planning and sustainability.

Other activities lined up for the excursions include football competition, swimming and visit to cinema before the team will be heading home.

In his words, the Principal said: ‘the tour is being packaged to provide the best experience for the students and others who will be interested to spend the holiday season for the excitement promised by the package’.
