The nationwide protests against hunger, hardship and bad governance in Nigeria as feared in certain quarters eventually turned violent with the looting of government offices and stores.
In Kano, the protesters attack government office taking advantage of lack of security to loot NCC Industrial Park in Kano and carted away valuables including office chairs, tables televisions and other appliances.
The protesters later stormed the government house where security agencies had to confront them to prevent the looting spree.
In Kaduna the same happened as the protesters attacked government offices to loot forcing the government to impose curfew on the metropolis in.particular.
The situation in Borno State turned bloody forcing the government to imposed curfew to stop the violent dimension of the protest.
