………Collapses, dies suddenly
An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) tragically died on Monday after collapsing on a street in Lagos State.
The EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances behind their late officer’s demise.
The officer, identified as Remedy S. Yange, reportedly slumped abruptly while on a leave from work to spend time with his family who stays in Lagos.
Until his death, Yange was a staff at the Benue State Office of the anti-graft body.
It was also gathered that Yange was an outstanding EFCC operative known for his involvement in the investigation and prosecution of fraudulent cases in Nigerian courts.
