The Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church Worldwide, on Tuesday, said its 2025 edition of Orilie Igbon Pilgrimage would address the nation’s challenges.
The Spiritual Head of C&S Church Worldwide, His Grace, Emmanuel Adewale-Alogbo, gave the assurance at a news conference in Lagos.
The news conference was organised by the church’s International Council of Prophets and Prophetesses.
The conference was to announce activities for the church’s 56th Orilie Igbon Pilgrimage, tagged “The 56th Ascension to Mount Horeb”.
The pilgrimage will have the theme, “Double Glory”.
It will take place from May 4 to May 11 at the church’s Galilee City ground at Orilie Igbon, Oyo State.
Adewale-Alogbo said that Nigeria’s challenges would be major prayer points at the event in order to get divine intervention on them.
He hoped that Nigeria’s security and economic challenges would be eliminated with prayers at the event.
He prayed for the nation’s leaders and victims of insurgency and other crimes.
The cleric advised Nigerians to volunteer useful information to security operatives to help them to fight insecurity better.
“The 2025 edition will focus on solutions and directives to ward-off challenges to make the country peaceful for all,” he said.
He said that the church was founded on the principles of divine love and community outreach.
“Our vision is to reach every corner of the earth with the gospel of Jesus Christ, fostering spiritual renewal and transformation in the lives of those we shepherd.
“It is a time for us to gather as one body in Christ to seek divine guidance and to experience the refreshing presence of the Holy Spirit, as prophets and prophetesses gather for spiritual retreat and rejuvenation,” he said.
The church leader said that the theme for the pilgrimmage served as an invitation to embrace the abundant blessings of God.
“It is a clarion call for people to aim higher, to receive greater revelations, and to witness extraordinary manifestations of the glory.
“Let us collectively create an atmosphere of expectancy, where miracles and divine encounters are not only possible but inevitable.”
C&S Conference Supervising Prophet Joel Olayinka-Adeniran described the forthcoming event as
divine visitation.
“Supplications shall be attended to divinely, yokes will be broken and captives shall be set free, as prophets and prophetesses of the church have obtained fresh grace to liberate the people from chains,” he said.
He said that the church had been known to be seeking spiritual direction for the nation, adding that the church would continue to ensure that the nation would be stable through prayers. (NAN)
