The real face of the Benin Republic failed coup leader. Lt Col. Pascal Tigri and two other soldiers have been declared wanted by the country’s constitutional authorities.
The Republic of Benin, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Note Verbal, requested immediate Nigerian air support “in view of the urgency and seriousness of the situation and to safeguard the constitutional order, protect national institutions and ensure the security of the population.”
President Bola Tinubu then ordered Nigerian Air Force fighter jets into Benin’s airspace to dislodge the coup plotters from key locations.
