The paramilitary of General Mohamed Hamdane Daglo (Hemeti) N°2 of the junta assure that they have taken control of the International Airport, Radio and the Presidential Palace in Khartoum, shaken since morning by gunfire and explosions. Images of men loyal to General Mohammed Hamdane Daglo storming the airport are currently circulating on social media.
The Sudanese Army spokesman, Sawarmi Khaled Saad assures that the Hemeti Rapid Response Forces do not yet have full control of the presidential palace and airports, and that fighting is still ongoing in the capital and the city of Moroe.
Violent clashes were reported around Khartoum international airport between government forces and men loyal to General Mohammed Hamdane Daglo (Hemeti).
