Biodun Esan, Ilorin
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has commiserated with the government and people of Yobe State on the death of former Governor, Sen Bukar Abba Ibrahim.
The governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye on Monday in Ilorin, said the death of the elder statesman left a huge void in the ranks of people with vast and multi-layered leadership experience, who truly love the country.
“Senator Buka Abba Ibrahim was not just a political force in the North East, but he was also an inspirational and great figure with a large following that is anchored on the goodwill from his service to the people,” the governor said.
The NGF Chairman prayed to Allah to grant Senator Buka Ibrahim Al-Jannah Firdaus and give comfort to his family and everyone who mourns him.
