The Ebonyi State Governor-elect, Chief Francis Nwifuru, has urged citizens of the state to promote love and service to humanity in the spirit of the Easter celebrations.
Nwifuru, who is the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, gave the urge on Sunday in his Easter message to the people of the state.
The governor-elect said in a statement that the significance of Easter mystery of redemption was deep rooted in love.
“The disposition of love and call to duty would form the fundamentals of my administration.
“This is because we came on the platform of divine mandate made possible through you, the people of Ebonyi.”
Nwifuru, in the statement, urged the people to embrace peace for the sustenance of democratic ideals in the state. (NAN)
