Ferscoat school is going ahead to offer Advanced Level programme for direct admission into Nigerian Universities with effect from September 2022.
The school is already offering lectures in
professional courses for ICSAN and ICAN certificates.
The school is also providing professional qualifications of ICSAN, ICAN and others for all category of candidates.
The Principal, Mr Fred Opata who disclosed this in his office recently said that the school has what it takes to meet the standard set for approval of the Cambridge A’ Levels programme and the professional courses adding that the school’s management is set to actualise that vision as quickly as possible.
The A Level, according to the Principal, will be available in all subjects covering both the science and arts in order to provide opportunities for the learners in selecting their preferred courses in the University.
This will also provide additional opportunities for those who may not be able to scale the admission hurdle through the UTME for those seeking admission into the 100 level in tertiary institutions.
According to the Principal, the A level from Cambridge is recognised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation for entry into the tertiary institutions for 200 levels otherwise known as direct admission.
The Ferscoat school already known for its culture of excellence in learning, has continued to record impressive performance for learners in external examinations including the UTME.
He added that the school is also providing a platform for those who are interested in securing professional qualifications of ISCAN and the likes with the window of opportunity made available by Ferscoat schools.
He explained that the school is set to provide the needed guidance to make them pass the examinations with ease and to qualify within a record time.
