Aspirants from the SouthEast for the Presidency under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has met in Abuja to take a stand on the outcome of the party”s presidential primaries.
The meeting which had all those indicated interest to contest the primaries in attendance issued a communique indicating their collective commitment to the decisions of the party.
COMMUNIQUE OF THE MEETING OF THE SOUTH EAST ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF HIS EXCELLENCY, DR. OGBONNAYA ONU, HELD ON SUNDAY, MAY 22, 2022, AT THE RESIDENCE OF H.E. SENATOR ROCHAS OWELLE OKOROCHA, MAITAMA, ABUJA.
Senator Ken Nnamani read out the statement as agreed by all aspirants as follows:
I. That the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its National Working Committee (NWC) as well as the teeming members of the party are commended by the entire people of the South East on their commitment to the unity of Nigeria and the inclusion of all parts of Nigeria in the general architecture of the nation.
II. That we commend all Nigerians who are committed to the Nigerian Project by the wholehearted support of the aspiration of the South East to produce the next president in 2023.
III. That in furtherance of this commitment, all aspirants herein commit to align with anyone of our South East aspirant that is accepted and chosen by the party.
