2023: APC women promise 40m votes for Tinubu

The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Binra Edu, has promised that Nigeria women and youths would deliver 40 million votes for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, in the 2023 general elections.

Edu made the promise while speaking at the women presidential campaign council flag off in Ilorin on Thursday.

She therefore urged women to lay aside all distractions, and work assiduously to achieve the targeted 4 million votes at the presidential election in February.

Wife of the president Aisha Buhari, who led the women campaign council to Ilorin said she has set a platform for the voices of women to be heard

She expressed the optimism of women and youths to deliver in the forth coming general election

Aisha described AOC as a party of peace, progress, and urged the women to carry the campaign with seriousness and commitment

The Kwara State governor Abdulrahman Abdurazak appreciated the choice of the state for the campaign, adding that Tinubu has the right network to take the country to greater heights given his achievements in Lagos state

He said he would continue to champion the course of women in the state both in governance

According to the governor, there is no vacancy for any other party in the state as the state is for Bola Tinubu

While highlighted the achievement of the administration in state, AbdulRazaq therefore urged people of the state not to relent in their believe to the party

Wife of Kwara Governor, Dr Olufolake AbdulRazaq expressed optimism of women and youths to vote for the party n the state given the track records of the president administration

Also speaking, Sen Oluremi Tinubu said the choice of Kwara is divinely chosen, adding that they would bring succour to unemployment youths in the state as well turn around the fortune of people of the state for good.

Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi said Kwara state is not a one party State, saying that the governor uplifted the state.

Hey stressed that the development of the state since inception of the present administration was unprecedented.

He said the governor adopted all inclusive government as well brought back the glory of the state

He commended the wife of Tinubu for choosing Kwara state for the flag off campaign.

“Kwara will give Tinubu and Shettima one hundred percent support” he said

He Commended the governor for what he has done for women and youth in the state

APC Youth leader Hon Duduyemi Suleiman, who commended the governor for his stride for the youths in the state, said youths would deliver as they did in the primary.
