Vice President Kashim Shettima departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Tuesday en route to Katsina State for the burial of Hajiya Dada Yar’adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and former Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters, Shehu Yar’adua.
The Vice President is accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa; Ambassador Babagana Kingibe; and the Special Adviser to the President on General Duties, Aliyu Modibo.
Jana’iza (funeral prayers) for the late matriarch will be conducted today at the Yar’adua family house in Katsina.
