Nigerian Prison Service Promotes 5482 Officers The Nigerian Prison Service (NPS) has promoted a total of Five Thausand Four Hundred and Eighty Two(5,482) Officers and Men. 

In a statement Kebbi State command, Public Relations Officer, Faisal Namadi (ASPi) said about fifty (50) personnel in Kebbi State Command are beneficiaries of the promotion which is based on merit,  character and integrity.

The Controller of Prisons Kebbi State Command, CP Abu Sanu, while decorating the elevated staff with their new ranks urged them to “be magnanimous and shun pompousity and arrogance.

He also appealed to those that missed the promotion to exercise patience asking them to work harder for the next promotion exercise.

The epoch making event which was held at State Headquarters Office in Birnin Kebbi, had in attendance Senior Prison Officers, Well-wishers, as well as Family and Friends of Promoted Staff.

Speaking on behalf of the affected Officers ACP Idris Garba (Officer incharge Birnin Kebbi Old Prison), thanked The Controller General of Prisons Ahmed Ja’afaru, for deeming it worthy to elevate them. Those promoted include Officers incharge of Yelwa-Yauri, Kangiwa and Warrah Satellite Prisons as well as the Command’s Spokesman.
