…To pursue the restructuring agenda
Peoples Democrtic Party presidential aspirant in the 2019 polls, Barrister Kabiru Taminu Turaki (KTT) has declared boldly that his integrity in public service, his capacity and readiness to serve will provide the basis for him to unseat the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
Addressing newsmen in Lagos, the former Minister of Special Duties under the Goodluck Jonathan administration of the PDP who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) said he believes that the restructuring of the country is long overdue and he will personally pursue the agenda of total restructuring of the country in terms of zonal structures and control of resources.
KTT who also boasts of a robust credentials in public service and as a long standing lawyer of repute said his integrity has continued to exonerate him since he left office as minister under the last administration
He was bold to challenge the ruling party and its agencies of victimising members of the PDP to confront him in a debate if they have anything incriminating against him while in office.
The frontline aspirant who enjoys the support of chieftains of the PDP undoubtedly possesses the record of a learned politician, eloquent in his delivery and capable of changing the fundamental laws of the country which will ensure the restructuring agenda of those agitating for this in the polity.
“As a bridge builder, I will work to bringing bout the unity of this country which has been divided along 95 per center and five percenter by the APC. I will ensure the security of the country and make insurgency a thing of the past going by my experience in negotiating with the Boko Haram elements which enbaled elections to hold in all the local governments of the country in 2015”, Barrister KTT said.
While presenting himself and his agenda in Lagos on Tuesday Turaki said there was no basis for the having seven zones in the North West while we have five in the South East which has been one of the major demands of agitators of the restcturing in the polity.
