EFCC: Saraki in our custody

The Economic and Funancial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday in Abuja confirmed the arrest and detention of the former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki. Mr Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesperson of the commission, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Saraki was invited for questioning over allegations of corruption and money laundering. Lagos pays retirees over N32bn in two years -commissioner

Lagos State says it paid accrued pensions of more than N32bn to 8,170 retirees between May 2019 and July 2021. The Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) in a statement issued on Saturday said that the Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions, Mrs Ajibola Ponnle, disclosed this on Friday at the 87th retirement benefit bond certificates presentation to retirees. Human trafficking: NAPTIP rescues 100 victims in S’ East in 6 months
