APC Fation Says National Sec, Abdullahi, Can’t Speak For Kwara

The fractional chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has said that Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the national publicity secretary of the party lacked the morality to declare them a non recognized body within the party.

Also, they said the national spokesman of APC falls short of rights to speak for the New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) vis-à-vis their demands and complaints of marginalization in the APC.

Speaking at a press briefing in Ilorin on Tuesday, the faction, led by its chairman, Hon. Bashir Bolarinwa said Abdullahi; an “outgoing publicity secretary’ of APC grossly erred in his opinions.

Alhaji Abdullahi Samari, deputy chairman of the APC group otherwise known as Buhari/Osinbajo loyalists in the State APC who addressed the press said Bolaji Abdullahi has succeeded in throwing “more confusions into the air than proffering solution to the multiple problems within the party”.

The problems he said were caused “by overzealous politicians in the APC” pointing out that Mallam Abdullahi was simply serving all along serving in his acts and deeds no individual or corporate interests other than of his “godfather, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki”.

The APC faction accused Abdullahi of while seeking to return as the party’s national spokesman of the party come June 23, he all the same is in “a wild chase for the gubernatorial slot that he thinks requires the endorsement of Dr. Bukola Saraki”.

Samari said because his group had gone to court to demand validity of their parallel congress few weeks ago, he would not delve much into the matter but even then, the publicity secretary lacks morals to talk on the subject when he himself did not emerge national party spokesman in a regular convention.

“The ‘Arca Centre’ venue of our congress was a baby of President Mohammadu Buhari loyalists in Kwara State. It is an amalgamation of all Buhari/Osinbajo 2019 re-election support groups in Kwara State against the insinuation of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi that we are fame seekers.

“Mallam Abdullahi and his masters should note that it is “unintelligent opportunism” for them to think that the now re-awakened APC leadership, will continue to accord them the same recognision and respect they hitherto enjoyed”.

Samari punctured the claims of marginalizations by the nPDP saying that rather, they had benefitted more than any group from President Buhari’s government including Abdullahi.
