IGP Inaugurates Scheme To Distribute 200,000 Motorcycles To Police Officers

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr Mohammed Adamu, has inaugurated a scheme for distribution of 200,000 motorcycles on soft loan to interested police personnel. At the inauguration of the scheme in Abuja on Thursday, Adamu said the initiative was in recognition that motivation of workforce would improve service delivery. Police Nab Members Of Notorious Gang

NCDC Confirms 14 COVID-19-Related Deaths, 1386 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 1,386 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 114,691. The NCDC disclosed this on its official website on Wednesday. The country has so far tested 1,198,758  people since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was recorded on February 27, 2020.
