Thieves Break Into Police Station While Officers Watch UEFA League

Thieves broke into a Kenyan police station on Tuesday night as all officers on duty abandoned their post to watch a UEFA Champions League match at a nearby trading centre. Newspaper reports indicate that the incident happened at Kobujoi Police Station, Nandi County. The thieves made away with three rifles and ammunitions. On returning to the post, the soccer-crazy policemen discovered that the room of the officer in-charge, which also serves as an armoury was open. Court Orders Jay Jay Okocha’s Arrest For Tax Evasion

A Lagos High Court in Igbosere has ordered for the arrest of former Super Eagles captain, Augustine Jay-Jay Okocha to appear in court for alleged tax evasion. Justice Adedayo Akintoye made the order following Okocha’s alleged failure to settle a 2017 income tax evasion case brought against him by the Lagos State Government.
