Enugu Confirms Two Fresh Cases  Of COVID-19 

Enugu State  has recorded two  fresh cases of COVID-19 infection,  bringing the total cases to 18, 8 discharged  and 10 on treatment. Commissioner for Health,  Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu  in a statement,  Sunday,  said that the first new case (Case 17) is a 45-year-old male who hails from Igbo-Eze North LGA of Enugu State and lives in Lagos State. The Delta State Police Command said on Wednesday that it had arrested nine suspected members of the outlawed group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and recovered 13 police service rifles from them. Enugu State in furtherance of its efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the state, on Friday, launched the distribution of one million units of fabric face masks to its residents across the 17 local government areas for protection, free of charge.
