Members Protest Demolition Of LFC Church Building, Assault On Pastor In Abuja

Members of Living Faith Church in Gwagwalada Abuja are protesting what they termed as unlawful demolition of their church by officials of the Department of Development Control of the Federal Capital Development Authority (DDC-FCDA). The members said, beside the demolition of the church, located along the Specialist Hospital Road in Gwagwalada, the Resident Senior Pastor, Caleb Olubiyi was also assaulted by some policemen attached to the officials of the DDC-FCDA. Kidnappers In Kaduna Kill Foreign Tourist, Abduct 3 Others

Kidnappers in Nigeria killed two people including a Western woman on Saturday and abducted three Nigerians in Kaduna,  according to the police. The tourist, a woman travelled from Lagos and was attending a party before the incident happened, police said, adding she had no identification. Police were yet to confirm her nationality. Buhari Signs N30,000 Minimum Wage Bill Into Law, Effective April 19

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the new 30,000 minimum wage bill into law at the State House in Abuja. The National Assembly passed the National Minimum Wage Bill, approving N30,000 minimum monthly wage for Federal and State workers. The proposed new National Minimum Wage was presented to the National Council of State on January 22 after which it was sent to the National Assembly. Fuel Subsidy: Petrol Landing Cost Now N180 per litre-FG

The landing cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, is N35 higher than the pump price of N145 per litre, the federal government said on Tuesday.
