About-To-Wed Journalist Killed By Unknown Assailants

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has confirmed the death of a journalist, Mr Maxwell Nashan, attacked by unknown assailants. Nashan, a young reporter with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) FM station, popularly known as Fombina FM in Yola, was found unconscious in the early hours of Wednesday near the station with cuts and bruises. Katsina Restricts Tricycles, Motorcycles Due To Insecurity

Katsina State has issued an Order restricting the use of  motorcycles and tricycles between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. across the state with effect from January 20. President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has condemned the gun attack in Kaduna on the convoy of the Emir of Potiskum, Yobe State, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram.
